FSR: Doesn't look like a resignable position. I wonder if more moves were played.

FSR: Hmm, I think when I wrote that I must have thought that Black was just a pawn up. Actually, he's a <piece> and a pawn up.
Dec-14-11  hedgeh0g: Either way, there is no pawn shortage when it comes to Cummings.
Jan-24-12  Bonifratz: <FSR> I guess White resigned due to his shortcummings.

  FSR: Obvious Shortcummings.

perfidious: A classic matchup on a par with the only example of Wolff vs J Fang, 1994 extant, a game which I could not resist submitting some months back.

FSR: <perfidious> The first Midwest Masters tournament, in 1982, featured a game with Tim Redman playing White against Allan George Savage. Redman-Savage - an appalling slur on Native Americans. But maybe not as bad as
Dec-08-19  Cibator: Until I noted the date I was afraid it might have been That Other D Cummings achieving a major upset, which would have been intolerable to contemplate.

As for humorous match-ups, this is still one of my favourites.

I Stohl vs M Bezold, 1992

moronovich: Shortcummings is also an ancient expression which covers the life of a porn star with a very busy schedule.
Dec-08-19  Count Wedgemore: LOL. I've tried to find a funny comment to add to the discussion, but I keep cumming up short.
Dec-08-19  Granny O Doul: I always thought David Niven's comment about the Oscars streaker showing his shortcomings was one of the most overrated witticisms. And that the Rob Lowe duet with Snow White was perhaps mildly dumb but certainly not among the worst things ever.
