Aug-22-13  Pulo y Gata: Bravo, Dmitry!
Aug-22-13  haydn20: Pretty! The N can't move because of Qh7#, so he can't prevent the discovery which will cost him his Queen.
Aug-22-13  Everett: Torre turned killer Stonewall

HeMateMe: 32. B-e8+ is the quietus.
Aug-22-13  Everett: < HeMateMe: 32. B-e8+ is the quietus.>

If <Quietus> means <illegal>, I agree.

HeMateMe: oops, 33. B-h7 double check is the killer.
Aug-23-13  patzer2: The threat 33. Be8+! is the quietus that forces Black's resignation.

If 32...Rf7, then 33. Bxf7+ Kxf7 34. Rg7+ King moves 35. Qh8+ Ng8 36. Qxg8# ends it.

Aug-23-13  haydn20: Browsing thru posters' predictions of finalists and dark horses, I find no one mentions Andreikin. Hasn't he had good success lately, and isn't he in good shape in this tournament?
Aug-29-13  tud: Forward. All white pieces go forward.
