perfidious: Perhaps in Black's preliminary analysis, he had counted on 25.Ra6 being met by 25....Qxa6, which has the misfortune of running head-on into the resource 26.bxa6 Rxb4 27.a7, when the former world titleholder gets his queen back, but his opponent's has gone for good and all.
Feb-04-16  ex0duz: Is this game and Anand vs Esserman/Demuth(where he lost) all rapid or blitz games?

Otherwise, how can they all be played on the same day? Or does Gibraltar have multiple classical games a day, and in this case, 3 or more?!?

OR is the dates on chessgames.com's scoresheet wrong? :(

perfidious: Dates must be incorrect, as FIDE has long barred events with more than two games per day being rated as classical.
