tpstar: White to Play and Win.
Sep-25-16  Mendrys: Fortunately not the real game score.

It was good and a little awe inspiring to see Magnus after the event going thru the games from memory with each of the participants giving some analysis and pointers along the way.

Sep-25-16  Beholder: And so Andrew Grojean becomes a chess player in CG.com's database with literally zero moves ever played.

Sally Simpson: Moves were played, it was a Berlin Defence. Here: (Black to play)

Andrew did not move the d6 Knight but played 7...Bg4 and after 8.exd6 Bxd6.

Black castled Q-side and won with an unstoppable, irrefutable kingside attack.

Magnus paid 5 euros to keep the game quiet as he is now intending to use this line ( the Grojean Attack) v Karjakin.

Adding 1-0 to the game helps hide what really happened.

Andrew Grojean, a retired salmon poacher and one time pirate says the idea came to him one day when an apple fell on his head....Andrew is 62.

Sep-25-16  Beholder: <Magnus paid 5 euros to keep the game quiet>

Ah, so Grojean is an unsung chess genius but a financial retard. Figures.

Sally Simpson: Andrew used the 5 euros to send a letter a to Karjakin.telling him he has a smashing TN in the Berlin.

Karjakin paid 10,000 euros for the TN....the first game should be interesting.

Sep-25-16  LucB: My dear <Sally>: is it the thin Scottish air that makes you such a silly Sally? :D
Oct-08-16  diceman: Gives: "Best by test" new meaning.
Oct-21-16  Doniez: <diceman> best comment of the game ever!
Oct-21-16  Pedro.Akcio: That's exactly how my game against magnus would be. e4!!! "-I resign" *awkward handshake*
Oct-21-16  whiteshark: Andrew can be seen here on board 10: https://youtu.be/llo_Mr4kFxU?t=666
Nov-01-16  andrewgrojean: This is my game! Unfortunately, the DGT board had a glitch and only recorded Magnus' first move. I've notated my actual game and included commentary on my thought process here: http://bit.ly/2fa2tW5
