Dec-07-17  rodrigoporto: Skynet, is that you ?!
Dec-08-17  pajaste: Demolition in French Advance 5.f4 -variation. I find it a bit funny how black's king is back at e8 at move 37.
Dec-08-17  pajaste: Well, not exactly french advance, games like this -feature should in time show some interesting other demolitions by this e5-thrust that repel the knight from f6.
Dec-08-17  Cheapo by the Dozen: How to beat Stockfish:

Get it into an endgame and wait until it gets bored to death and gives away all its pawns.

Dec-11-17  TheSnear: 9...c4? is a clear mistake at this level. Would have never happened if the AlphaZero team had not taken away the opening book from Stockfish.

Weird, after 15 secs SF gives this:

23. Rb1 Nxd1 24. Rxb6 Nxc3 25. Rxb8 Nxe2 26. Rb1 Nexd4 #dia1

Completely winning for Black.

SF plays 23. Bxb2 (15s) with a small plus for White.

Anyway, it shows how weak these games are.

Jun-11-18  ThirdPawn: <WorstPlayerEver> Looks like I misread Arena's result. It was probably indicating advantage to black, unlike the traditional point of view given in terms of white.
Jun-12-18  WorstPlayerEver: <ThirdPawn>

Okay, I wondered. Haven't studied the game thoroughly, but as I see it now, this is all Alpha Zero output, they just used Stockfish to get publicity.

However, we are certainly looking at the future of chess! :)

Dec-20-18  WorstPlayerEver: <WPE>

Yes, here it is:

13. f5

Now SF8 played 13... a5 which implies a pawn sac. Did not like the idea of being a pawn down. But ended up a pawn down anyhow. However, seems Black has enough compensation:

13... f6 14. fxe6 Nb6 15. exf6 Rxf6 16. Ng5 Qe8 17. Bf3 h6 18. Bxd5 hxg5 19. Bxc6 Qxc6 20. d5 Nxd5 21. Nxd5 Rxe6 22. Nxe7+ Rxe7 23. Bxg5 Re4

<WPE> No, it shows how weak posting 15 second evaluations is.

  keypusher: SF10 on my desktop after an hour is +1.23 after 13...f6 14.Nb6 exf6 Bxf6 15.Ne5, unsurprisingly.
Jan-13-19  ColdSong: What a lesson...I'm speechless.
