FSR: Good Wednesday puzzle after 48.Ke5.
Jul-05-21  Playchess1vn: I have video annotated this amazing game: https://youtu.be/VzblrYlcKSU
Jul-17-21  dce: Interestingly, 48...Nf3+ still only draws after 49.Kf4 or Kf6. Accepting the knight sac lost the game for White!

OhioChessFan: Amusing groaner of a pun.
Jul-06-22  Autoreparaturwerkbau: <48.b4!> wins the game easily since black can't both defend marching b-pawn and g&h-pawns.

Instead white first discarded winning move and entered a drawn position with <48.♔e5?> and on the very next move threw the game completely away with <49.gxf3??>?

Not the most memorable two-move sequence by Mendonca.

Jul-06-22  Autoreparaturwerkbau: Thursday/Friday puzzle.

46...? Black to draw.
(only one move draws, all others lose)

Jul-06-22  nalinw: I think this is one of the better puns because of the similarity to the climactic game in the movie ....

MissScarlett: How about the pushy fathers?
Jul-06-22  fisayo123: two youngin's right here
