Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-07-22  ILikeKeres: Interesting encounter between two promising youngsters.

I would have considered the immediate 17. b4 followed by a c4 push after the exchanges.

25...Rf2 was worth a try. I don't see why exchanging rooks with 37...Rf8 is wrong either.

Oct-08-22  DanLanglois: Neimann as White, botched a won game. After 24...g6 White to move:

White played 25. Bg4?:

See Black's next couple of moves, ...Rfe8 and ...Rxe5.

So I say that White is 'won', that's pretty strong. After 25. Rxf8 Rxf8 26. Bd5 Rf2, it may seem that Black has hope:

27. Be4 Rf4 28. Bxb7

That's two pawns up. Black can resign now.
