Jan-28-24  dehanne: 12...Be7 is equal.
Jan-28-24  ex0duz: Such an impressive game. 99% accuracy for Wei Yi according to chess com engine analysis and in a complex game and not symmetrical closed pawn chain with most heavy pieces traded off and easy to find plans and easy to play moves etc.

Vidit had no chance at all, just got wiped off the board by Wei Yi's aggressive attack that had engine level accuracy.

Jan-28-24  Cooleyhigh: Wei Yi really WEIghed in. LOL

Honza Cervenka: It is never late to make a blunder. If 29.Qxb6??, then 29...Rxd5! -+.
Feb-23-24  pcalugaru: The Colle Koltanowski rides again..! nice..
Two 2700 elo GMs... mixing it up.

14. Rh4 then 15. d5 is also good.

IMO the Colle (both Variations) are a lot more in depth than the average chess player thinks. Chessmetrics has both Koltanowski and Colle himself with playing strengths of 2650 elo when they employed this opening.
