Aug-26-24  Albanius: 10 Qd3, losing a tempo in a book position for no reason, is such an egregious blunder that I wonder if it was a fingerfehler. Considering how critical tempi are in these St George vs Dragon lines, Nepo got what he deserved, but he might have gotten away with it against a lesser player.

perfidious: I was watching discussion during the live feed just after Nepo played his disastrous 18th move; Seirawan was speculating that White had likely forgotten something while playing through his prep.
Aug-26-24  Hype Butternut: I believe that white 18th move g5, was the turning point of the game, instead of g5, Ra-e1 could probably hold it longer.
Aug-26-24  Olavi: Is Ian playing drunk? This is very reminiscent of some of my efforts in said state.
Jun-09-25  Youcefattoui: This should be named "Caruanas Immortal "
