May-19-25  GumboGambit: So this is either odd or something is lost in translation: Yepishin was in his mid thirties while playing in this “Lost Boys” open event in Amsterdam. Regardless, the move 10.Qc2 is what designates this as <Yepishin’s Line>

perfidious: Mikhail Gurevich was one of the victors at Amsterdam and he was past forty.

beatgiant: <GumboGambit> "Lost Boys" was the name of the event sponsor. See http://www.chessdiagonals.ch/431660...

<The first event of the series was sponsored by and called «Volmac», then switching in 1994 to the mythical and fancy label «Lost Boys», the name of the sponsoring software company, as well as characters from the famous child novel Peter Pan, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up.>

May-19-25  GumboGambit: Thanks for the clarification.
