FSR: This game is from an ICCF double round robin thematic correspondence tournament in which every game must begin with the Fegatello/Fried Liver Attack (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.Ng5 d5 5.exd5 Nxd5? 6.Nxf7! Kxf7 7.Qf3+ Ke6 8.Nc3). 6.d4! is about equally strong, but those moves are obligatory. Black is almost, but probably not quite, lost in the starting position. In most of my games where my opponent, like me, was presumably using an engine (this is legal in ICCF), Black was able to scrounge a draw, though essentially perfect play was required. See S Valladares Caron vs F Rhine, 2024 ; O Thau vs F Rhine, 2024 ; F Rhine vs S Valladares Caron, 2024 ; F Rhine vs M Ulenaers, 2024.

This game also ended in a draw, but shouldn't have. I screwed up somewhere and got a lost game. Stockfish 17 gives the final position as +-. Its numerical ranking at high depth is +2.11 if I play 61...Kd6, or +2.21 if I give up the d-pawn with 61...d4. For some time I had been contemplating resigning. I assumed that my opponent was getting the same information from his engine as I was from mine, and there was no way I was going to improve on the engine's analysis, so what's the point of continuing? I was accordingly shocked when my opponent offered a draw. Of course I instantly accepted.

FSR: With colors reversed against the same opponent, I played 21.Rh5. F Rhine vs M Ulenaers, 2024. That move was also seen in my games as Black S Valladares Caron vs F Rhine, 2024 and O Thau vs F Rhine, 2024. In each case, Black held on for a draw. I have yet another game in this line as Black against Johnny Owens.

FSR: Sorry, I think I was looking at the wrong position. White should have played 60.Rb1+! Kc6 61.dxc5 Kxc5 62.Be3+ Kd6 63.Rb6+ winning the g-pawn, when White is indeed winning. The line my opponent played, with the immediate 60.dxc5, is tenable for me.
