  offramp: Hello everyone!

Thanks to chessgames.com!

I saw the games start at

https://www.youtube.com/live/9vL0qU...

There is an interesting innovation: the 6 computer boards (with GM Howell and others) are in 6 different pastel colours. It's genuinely helpful.

offramp: I have a feeling in my old sea-water blood that Carlsen is going to sellotape Gukesh's brain to the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Yeah yeah!!

OhioChessFan: 11 moves in and obviously cg.c has the colors of the pieces reversed...

offramp: This will be a <long> game. It'll go over 100 moves.

Carlsen is in the mood to beat his opponent.

Check It Out: Carlsen might lift that rook and smash the kingside. Gikesh will defend well. Could be a good 'un!

Check It Out: So much for the kingside attack. Now its a maneuvering, post-middle game situation which I'm sure suits Carlsen just fine.

  offramp: Thanks, chessgames.com.

This was one of the best <live games> ever.

It was like Pope Frances v Pope Sebastian: two popes still alive. Today we had two World Champions head-to-head.
