Uiteraard wel altijd je best doen, want hoe beter de resultaten, hoe leuker andere uitdagingen worden. Door haar tweede plaats op het NK t/m 12 jaar gaat ze over een weekje naar Mureck. Uiteraard gaat het hele gezin mee. Meteen een leuke vakantie!> <Als negenjarige leerde ze schaken. De internationaal georiënteerde familie woonde toen in Nederland, maar daarvoor lange tijd in de USA. Nu wonen de Schutjes in Waterloo, België.
Lisa werd lid van de SV Veldhoven en ging via Eindhoven naar HMC den Bosch. Vanwege de afstand volgt ze daar nu geen clubtraining meer. Dat doet ze wel bij haar Belgische club Humbeek, waar Petra Schuurman haar trainer is. Via internet krijgt ze ook van haar training. Ze werken met de schaakacademie en communiceren via msn, ongeveer een keer per maand. Vrij recent hebben ze in Waterloo de familie Obels en Haast op bezoek gekregen voor een trainingsweekend met Herman Grooten en Petra. Regelmatig krijgt ze ook training van de Belgische bond, door Dolf Meijer. Ze hoopt het komend seizoen in aanmerking te komen voor KNSB-training.> http://www.onjk.nl/2005/interviews.... The first time I heard her voice I thought that she'd grown up in the US, but in the Tata round 9 video it seemed clear that she didn't, though she speaks English like a mother tongue, very fast. |
