Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-07-06  EmperorAtahualpa: Hans de Lange is a Dutch player who is currently participating in the European Individual Chess Championships. I've never heard of him!

Does anybody know more about him? Perhaps some other Dutch visitors of this website?

Apr-10-06  blingice: Hmm, I know he plays the King's Indian and Sicilian--poorly.
Apr-11-06  EmperorAtahualpa: I wonder how he qualified for these championships?
Apr-11-06  BaranDuin: He described himself as a pratcicipating tourist. He is some sort of journalist who also participates in the tournament. He has a 1900 rating.
Apr-11-06  EmperorAtahualpa: <BaranDuin> Thanks for that. Since he's apparently a journalist, do you know about a website where we can read about his reports?
Apr-15-06  EmperorAtahualpa: After 10 rounds, Hans de Lange is still going strong with 0 points! :)
Apr-15-06  Jim Bartle: So he's sort of a modern-day George Plimpton, trying sports with professionals and then writing about them?
