Sep-23-07  technical draw: "Ju" Fischer? Is this some kind of joke or a play on words? Anyway he's 0-2, so he's not you know who.
Oct-21-08  waustad: I think the latter J Fischer is Julie Fischer. From her picture on the Euro Cup site she wasn't born for the first two games. The picture in the gallery they have under that name is a young blonde woman, probably in her late teens. FIDE has a Jos Fischer and a Johann Fischer listed who might have been the earlier player. I suspect Julie Fischer is getting her FIDE rating in this tournament.
Oct-21-08  waustad: She plays for Bischwiller, a French team.
Oct-22-08  waustad: Here is the picture:

Oct-22-08  AnalyzeThis: Nice looking girl. Hope she does well.
Dec-04-08  waustad: She's even younger, born in 1996.
Jun-04-12  waustad: After seeing ivo Fischer mentioned I thought I'd do an update here. She's still active and now rated 1862.

Jun-09-13  SoUnwiseTheKnight B4: The name is spelled right she plays the kings indian and as white 1.e4 plus the french supposedly hate America... this girl deserves her picture up.
Jun-09-13  waustad: Her club is listed as OSG Baden-Baden. Obviously she isn't strong enough for the Bundesliga or Frauenbundesliga teams, but the last tournaments I've found are from Baden Baden Opens. I haven't seen any games from the last 5 years, but she's picked up a little in rating from when she was in U1 tournaments and such. She played in one tournament with a Claudia Fischer who lost all of her games, so she may have been a sister or mother. I didn't search anymore. She's a 1200 player.
Jun-11-13  waustad: Naturally, right after I post something about no new games there is a new one the next day.
Jun-11-13  whiteshark: She's now rated 1915.

Jun-11-13  waustad: <whiteshark>That is an https site so many of us can't get on. that is strange since I've been on Chess Tigers site before. Perhaps you are a member and that accounts for the different access.
Jun-11-13  waustad: Is this her with you know who? http://chess-tigers.de/bilder/rosa/... The girl looks like an older version of the pictures I've seen before.
Jun-11-13  whiteshark: <waustad> Yes, that's the picture.

[I saw it was https, but it didn't work for me when I deleted the 's'. Thanks! ;)]
