Feb-20-08  JohnBoy: Bart - are you around? I remember you from the old SoCal days with Frasco and Rabin and Beelby and Wageeh Boctor, etc.

Jun-02-08  DanielBryant: The chessgames.com search feature is seriously messed up. I tried searching for "Bart Gibbons", "Gibbons, B", "Gibbons, Bart" and each time was automatically redirected to a different player. I was able to find this page through Google.

Anyways, Mr. Gibbons has a remarkable article on the USCF website in which he attempts to present the best moves played on all 64 squares of the board. http://main.uschess.org/content/vie...

May-14-09  ICCM Bart Gibbons: Hello, it's me! (like the song..lol) Bart
Jan-10-14  Caissanist: I remember Bart had an exciting win against David Berry published in the "Reader's Showcase" in Chess Life in the mid seventies, it would be fun to see that game here as well.
Apr-26-14  Benzol: If <ICCM Bart Gibbons> is Bart Gibbons then who is User: Bartacus ?

perfidious: <Paul> Same user, so far as I can tell.

Even I went by a different handle once, as my first nick here was <depraved>. Forgot about it for a long time and moved on to where I am now.

<perifdious>, having once been <depraved>.

I should think a user name such as <helpful> or <I Have a Good Memory> might be more apt?

perfidious: <WCC> Maybe so, but in one of my delusional moments, up came the little ball bearing 'perfidious'. Life goes on.
Dec-21-16  Howard: Still remember a 1981 article in Chess Life in which Bart Gibbons shows a couple of memorable games which he LOST.
