GrahamClayton: Syracuse, NY resident Adam had achieved a 2400+ rating when he died after a brief and short illness, aged just 19. He competed three times in the US Junior Invitational, with his best result being =2nd in 1981 with Douglas Root. He was also a keen CC player as well.
