ketchuplover: I received a copy of his "The Complete Chess Workout" today. Does anyone else here have it? What do you think of it? How are you using it? Any general advice would be nice too :) tia

I'm doing it for fun, not for blood (too old for blood -- not enough talent). I open the book randomly and solve a couple each morning or evening. If you're young and ambitious, I suppose you could assign yourself 10 or 15 a day and work straight through.

good book by Ricard Palliser, i rate it 9/10..

Nov-23-10  katar: "Richard Palliser" writes so many great chess books that i happen to think that "Richard Palliser" is the pseudonym of a writing team of at least 8-10 full-time chess authors.
Nov-23-10  BobCrisp: A bit like <Franklin W Dixon>?
