  mifralu: < THE GINNER CUP.

The Ginner Cup tournament at Hastings was won by J. M. Craddock, of the Cardiff High School, whose play all through was exceptionally good, especially in a difficult rook and pawn ending in the last round on Saturday morning. I understand that he learned the game from his father, who admits that the boy has now gone beyond him, and intends to send him to Cambridge University later on. In this event, Craddock, who is only 15 years old, will follow in the footsteps of two of his predecessors, P. S. Milner-Barry and C. H. O'D. Alexander, both of whom won the same at Hastings. >
