Jan-02-21  Nosnibor: Victor Russ was Leicestershire Chess Champion for 1949/50 and after leaving Leicester in 1961 became Lancashire Chess Champion at his first attempt. He and I both competed at the British Major Open in 1969 where both of us had a moderate result.
