[what is this?]
Alain Patience Niyibizi played for their team at both the Chess Olympiad (2010) and Chess Olympiad (2014) events.

The game K Meier vs A Niyibizi, 2014 at the match between Rwanda and Seychelles had an unusual ending for both teams. Alexis Ruzigura might have been in contention for a Candidate master title as a result of the team standings in the round, but team captain Maxence Murara of Rwanda "chose to sacrifice two games as loses in a gesture of goodwill to Seychelles, a decision which did not go down well with his teammates (1)." Kevin Ganza (president of the chess federation of Rwanda) agreed with the decision of their team captain. Links to G Kabera vs P Meier, 2014 (1st board), M Murara vs Ragul Pillay, 2014 (3rd board) and B Hoareau vs A Ruzigura, 2014 (4th board) were the other games of that final round.
