Penguincw: Someone better update his bio.

4th Batavia Chess Tournament (2012)

P.S. Third!

Mar-04-12  Karpova: In 2001 he appeared in a popular TV show and won a bet (looking at 5 boards with middlegame positions put up. He had four minutes to memorize them and was able to put them up exactly the way they were afterwards).
Mar-04-12  rapidcitychess: Excellent work there!
(Fourth!)
Mar-04-12  twinlark: And sixth, he doesn't play that many games anyway!

HeMateMe: What are business sciences? For the lab, do you dissect the CEO of a failing company?
Mar-05-12  twinlark: If only.

I'd be interested to know what he'd find inside Goldsman Sachs executives. My guess is absolutely nothing.

HeMateMe: Did G.S. get a big, sexy bailout, or was that only the retail banks?
Mar-05-12  twinlark: That was cash for coffee. They're busy acquiring Europe on a heavily leveraged buyout.
Mar-05-12  mack: <Karpova> What was the programme called?
Mar-05-12  Karpova: I think it was called 'Wetten, dass...?' (I guess it translates to something like 'do you want to bet that...?'), a german TV show. But other users can probably tell you more about it.

Bochum-based DJTUNES.com is one of the leading download platforms for electronic music worldwide and is addressing the needs of the club culture of the future.
