His chosen subject was 'The World Chess Championship' and for a while his score of 7 held the worse ever record for a specialists subject.

This was beaten in 2016 when Kadeena Cox only got three correct on the chosen subject of 'Arsenal F.C.'

Two other specialists subjects on Mastermind have been 'Bobby Fischer' and 'Tigran Petrosian.'
