Diademas: I'm guessing there's something wrong with the scoresheet here. Black has an easy mate not only at move 25, but also at move 26 and 27 when he resigned. It's not very plausible that two titled players (Smejkal was a GM at the time) should overlook something that banal.

OhioChessFan: Sir! You almost got me in trouble at work. I happened to read your profile and laughed loud enough to catch the boss' attention. Whereupon he asked what was so funny and I was hard pressed to attribute surfing cg.c to my work duties.

thegoodanarchist: <Diademas: Happy Easter to you in these trying times.>

Happy Easter to you as well! I am sad that I won't get to attend an Easter church service.

<Just ended a Skype family dinner with children, grandchildren and my old mother.>

Grandchildren?

I didn't guess you were that old!

FSR: <Diademas> Hey, I won! No need to go on a killing spree. And certainly I'm not going after those wonderful people (or whatever kind of being you are - hard to tell from the avatar) like you who voted for me! Thank you!

I thought my pun was amazing. As someone who's had 144 of my puns used (and more than twice that not used), I can tell you that it's virtually impossible to find a game that fits a pun so perfectly. But I will admit that the game itself wasn't all that great, unfortunately. White got a crushing position, then seemed to have blown it until Black stumbled into mate.
