  mifralu: Frank James Marshall was guest of the Mannheim chess club from April 8-11. At a Simultaneous performance on the 8th, he faced the elite of the Chess friends from Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, Heidelberg, Schwetzingen and Frankenthal. From 32 games against consulting opponents Marshall won 13, lost 11 and drew 6. <He also played three games with the best player of the Mannheim chess club, Mr. W. Gudehus, and won 1 and lost 2 games.>
