Jan-01-06 | | hidude: Kansas City will lose, according to John Madden and numerous others (including me :)) |
Jan-02-06 | | you vs yourself: Despite the fact that Peyton is almost inactive for 2 full games, here's a cool stat I never expected to see before the season started: Eli Manning leads Peyton Manning in the total yardage category, for the season, by 15 yards! After seeing Peyton and Eli last season, this is just an amazing feat and Eli should be proud of the season he's had. I am guessing Peyton probably knew Eli's total yards and asked his coach to pull him out of the game after just one uneventful series(normally in "meaningless" regular season games, he would play at least 2 or 3 series to keep himself sharp). What a nice new year's gift for his little bro! |
Jan-02-06 | | DanielBryant: John Madden was wrong, although it ended up being rather inconsequential. I don't like the Colts... at all... but I wouldn't mind seeing them win after everything that happened. |
Jan-02-06 | | weisyschwarz: The second season should be interesting: the top teams are limping (Colts, Seattle, Bears, Giants) or are faking it, while the underdog wild card teams look strong (Panthers, Redskins). |
Jan-03-06 | | DanielBryant: The only game that I got to see of Chicago's all season was their debacle against Pittsburgh... I did not see how they were contending for #2 in the NFC at all. |
Jan-07-06
 | | WannaBe: Hehehe... the younger (marcus) Vick has declared himself eligible for NFL draft, (After being kicked off Virginia Tech's football team. More problems with the law.) Maybe my team, the Oakland T/Raiders will draft him for QB, then sign Maurice Clarett for RB. Full-filling Al Davis' "Commitment to Criminals"!
Or maybe I should just find another pro football team to root for... |
Jan-08-06 | | you vs yourself: The pats are looking scary. Dominating win against the Jags today. I hope Pittsburgh wins tomorrow, so that Indy will play New England in the Championship game rather than next week! The championship game means, it gives extra weight for the game and Manning has been faced with the "You didn't win the big game" criticism a lot; now is the best chance for him to smash all that talk and beat the in-form New England and finally get the elusive ring. |

 | | chancho: <you vs yourself> I like Pittsburgh's chances against Cincinatti. If they play their brand of football, instead of a shootout, they'll win. |
Jan-08-06 | | you vs yourself: <chancho> Pittsburgh has been pretty hot lately. Bengals, at the same time, are having big problems on the defensive end. So, I like the steelers' chances as well. BTW, who do you pick in the Carolina-NY game? I wish the giants will win so that the chances of brothers meeting in the super bowl increase! I expect a close game and not really sure who'll win. But, with Tiki Barber's form, I'll pick Giants in a close one. |
Jan-08-06
 | | chancho: <you vs yourself> Carolina is a good team. I think Eli could be in for a long day tomorrow. :( |
Jan-10-06 | | DanielBryant: Feel free to post NFL playoffs predictions on my chessforum. |

Feb-02-07
 | | WannaBe: Question, how many Mannings are playing in Super Bowl XLI? |
Feb-04-07
 | | WannaBe: Wow, no one answered my question.
The answer is 3. 1 for Indianapolis, you know, that guy 6' 3" with a rocket arm and appears in all those commercials. The other 2 are on Bear's defence. And the defence was on the field more minutes than P. Manning was on the field! |
Feb-04-07 | | Chess Classics: As a Bears fan, one has to ask-what the hell is wrong with Grossman?! Regards,
CC |
Feb-04-07
 | | JointheArmy: For his first full season at quarterback, Grossman aint bad at all. Certainly better than Dilfer, Collins, or Orton. |
Feb-04-07
 | | WannaBe: Or those Heisman trophy winners from that other school, one of them now plays for Arizona, and other plays on that team that have more people arrested than wins this year. |
Feb-05-07 | | Chess Classics: <JointheArmy> Yes, he is. He needs to realize that his receivers and his running backs are very talented, and so he should let them do most of the work. Or, in simpler terms: STOP TURNING THE BALL OVER. Regards,
CC |
Feb-07-10 | | wolfmaster: Wow, Peyton had a pretty bad game. He lost it for the Colts, dontcha think? |
Feb-07-10
 | | HeMateMe: He was average, and that was enough to lose it. this is the same Saints team, that, when they got on a roll, scored three straight times against the vikings in the nfc ch. game. I get a little tired of hearing about the manning family, anyway. Brave Saints! |

Sep-08-11
 | | WannaBe: Breaking News:
Manning to have more neck surgery, possibly out the whole season. Reaction:
The two other QBs are Kerry Collins, 38 years old, with 17 years of NFL experience. Or second year QB, out of Ball State, Nate Davis.
Possible solutions, pick up recently released Garrard, or have Favre's number on speed dial. |
Sep-08-11
 | | perfidious: Flash: Colts, sans Manning the entire year, 6-10 at best. They'll find out the meaning of payback after all those years of whaling on their division-not that it's a great division, but without Manning, they've no chance whatever. Garrard may not be great, but I'd prefer him to Collins. Painter really should get a shot at the starting job, though. |
Feb-02-14 | | lakers4sho: psh, complete shutout, broncs defense prevails |
Feb-02-14
 | | OhioChessFan: Must be a Broncos fan in denial. |
Feb-02-14 | | lakers4sho: haha I was actually rooting for the seahawks, don't know why I wrote broncos. |
Feb-03-14
 | | Tabanus: Captain John Manning of Norfolk, Virginia. |
