GrahamClayton: Albert Winkelman is the son of John Winkelman. In Round 9 of the 1955 US Junior championship, Fischer drew with Winkelman - unfortunately the game score is unavailable.

Winkelman was a Lincoln, NE resident at the time, which explains why he participated in the tournament. He finished 22nd out of 25 participants, with a score of 4/10.

Winkelman studied mathematics at Harvard, and eventually emigrated to Australia, where he became part of the faculty at the Australian National University.
