Louis Aldrich Cook, the son of Louis A. Cook, was born at South Weymouth, Mass., on May 24, 1877, preparing for Yale at Andover. He attended the Harvard Law School in 1900-1901, and in 1902 was appointed Second Assistant Clerk to the Superior and Supreme Judicial Courts of Norfolk County, Mass.
