  DrNyet: Hartoch is mentioned numerous times in one of my favorite books by one of my favorite writers, Hans Ree’s My Chess, including in the section on a beloved hang out, Di Kring, where he supposedly lost a tooth in a fight involving a woman.
Nov-20-21  Caissanist: acquired all the old Chessvibes content, the obituary is now here: . According to the obit, he was in poor health (diabetes) for many years before his death, and his many draws were partly a consequence of that.
