Agnieszka Brustman was born in Warsaw. She was awarded the WIM title in 1979 and the WGM title in 1985. She was World Junior Women's Champion in 1982 after she had already won the European Junior Women's Championship in 1980. Brustman was Polish champion (w) in 1982, 1984, 1987, and 1996. She is also an International Arbiter.
