Jul-17-09  sneaky pete: "Im Rahmen der Werbewoche der Polizei-Sportvereinigung Wien wurde am 13. Mai 1948 im Ausstellungssaale I., Postgasse 9, eine große Simultanvorstellung durchgeführt. Herr Josef Platt (Polizei Sp. V.), Dritter der Wiener Stadtmeisterschaft 1948, spielte gegen 26 Mitglieder der Polizei Sportvereinigung; er blieb ungeschlagen und erzielte das Ergebnis v. 23 Siegen u. 3 Remis (Drahos, Friedenreich und Karpati)."

I like that name <Friedenreich> for a police officer. I bet he could do good work on the Wesley So-and-so page.
