lostemperor: A true statement <RO>! When I started playing chess I wanted to play as much strong players as possible. Just to learn, I don't mind losing.

Alexandra Nicolau is also known as Cathy van der Mije, what has no resemblance whatsoever. The latter last name is from her husband. What is not in her bio is that she was also Dutch women champion in 1974, 76, 77, 78, and 79! I believe I got some serious spanking from her (but I did keep another women champion to a draw at one day):)

Jul-23-08  Red October: did she use <Rinus'> Mattenklopper ? :)

lostemperor: I did not record the game what happened about 10 years ago. This momma beat me in a 10 minutes blitz!

lostemperor: And how about you <Red> October? I remember reading in one of your alternate profiles that you have a rating of 2400 or more. I have wondered about that.
Jul-24-08  Red October: no nowhere near 2400, I just manage to keep my gameknot rating at about 1900 thats all (which is where my schemingmind rating was too until i stopped playing there) but I have beaten a few people who became GMS later (ok they were kids then but I still beat them)
