  GrahamClayton: 1972 and 1975 Australian Correspondence Chess Champion. Returned to CC play in 2009 after a 34 year absence, caused by the refusal of the Correspondence Chess League of Australia to allow Woodhams to complete correspondence games while travelling in Europe.

Woodhams had a fantastic debut for Australia at Nice. Playing Board 4, he ended with a score of 15.5/18 (86.11%) - only ex-World Champion Tigran Petrosian had a higher score on Board 4 - 13.5/15 (90%).
