Sep-29-16  cro777: Laketic's book 'Alfieri di Colore Contrario e Pezzi Pesanti' (Opposite-colored bishops and heavy pieces) is one of my favorite chess books.

http://www.scacco.it/media/catalog/...

In this book Laketic introduced an original method for studying the positions with opposite-colored bishops and queens and rooks (determining the elements of positional evaluation, typical positional operations, pawn structures etc).

This is an example of this type of position (White to move):

How to assess this position and how to proceed?

Laketic's book helps to correctly answer this and similar questions.
