  FSR: I believe this should be "Ove Kroll," not "Kroll Ove." He lived in Chicago in the early 80s for a few years while attending grad school at the University of Chicago. A very strong player, and a nice guy. In blitz games, he liked to play zany openings like 1.Nc3 d5 2.e3 e5 3.Qh5!?

Among his wins was one over a young Peter Heine Nielsen.

He has been club champion of Nordre Chessclub (in Aarhus) on a number of occasions.

Although less active these days, he is a regular board 1 for thy Chessclub and maintains an impressive 2340 rating.
