Mikhail <Petrovich> Kamyshov [1] (1910-1978) - Soviet chess player, master of sports of the USSR (1945). Mechanical engineer.

Participant of many championships in Moscow, semi-finals of the USSR championship, the RSFSR championships (1949 - 5-8 places and 1950 - 7th place). Champion of DSO "Science" (1946).

[1] The erroneous patronymic <Pavlovich> is often indicated. Also, in a number of publications there are discrepancies in the spelling of the surname: Kamyshov and Kamyshev. There are also variants in the way of transferring the surname in Latin: Kamyshov and Kamishov. All this leads to a "split" of the chess player in the bases.
