  perfidious: In 1974, I played someone called Mike Geake-he was about 1300, but played better chess than the scant evidence displayed here.

Married twice, apparently.

To Rachel Bishop on October 16th 1856 in the parish of St. Marylebone, London. Born in Bodmin, Cornwall. His father Richard's profession is given as surgeon.

Still to find when Rachel died or when he married Louisa.
