perfidious: While I've no idea who the David Carter in the game listed is/was, here's the rating card on the player listed above.

http://ratings.fide.com/card.phtml?...

Dave and I were teammates in high school (he first board, I fourth) as we won the National HS championship at Cleveland in May 1977, an event won by James E Thibault with 7/8 (+6 =2), ahead of Yasser Seirawan and Carter et al on 6.5.

Oct-22-11  brankat: <perfidious> I think David Carter You have in mind is a USCF master. Since 1982 and an OTB champion of the state of Vermont.

Currently, I just happen to be playing 2 correspondence game against him at <Schemingmind.com>. It is a team match. An American team ("Apple Pie" :-)) vs a Canadian team (Northern Trappers :-)).

The game in CG.co database <Kotlanowski-Carter> must have had another D.Carter as a player.
