OhioChessFan: I can't figure out how to link it, but there's a chess variant called "Week", apparently invented by a Steve Tarin. I'm guessing the same person as in this bio.

A search of jsbeasley, Steve Tarin, variants should get someone to the right place. I'll see if I can right click it next time I get on a desktop.

Aug-23-20  Granny O Doul: I knew him a bit. In fact, I think I met him the very day of his debacle vs. Christiansen, which featured, believe it or not! a line he'd prepared but apparently he overlooked something.

Anyway, from NYC and lived later in NC. I'm sure he's the inventor of the variant noted above. I remember that the Encyclopedia of Chess Variants also included "Weak Chess", but that was different.
