Jan-28-23  ndg2: I had problems for second to recognize what the term "Saar*" in the bio stands for, then I saw the link to the Wikipedia article.

"Saar" stands for "Saarland", one of the 16 federal states that constitute Germany. But between 1947 and 1956 this territory was a French protectorate. For example, they had their own currency there ("Saar-Mark") alongside the French Franc.
