fredthebear: Nope. Or should I say, not yet! What's the title/subject of his book?
Sep-01-24  areknames: This guy is the only GM I have faced in a proper tournament with classical time control. Needless to say, I went down like a stone. I had White in a Sicilian Scheveningen and did ok in the opening but couldn't devise a sensible plan and was slowly strangled. After a scramble in zeitnot I made the time control but promptly resigned because my position was truly awful. Funny thing is I didn't even realize until after the game that I had lost a whole piece during the tussle!

perfidious: <areknames>, that is one of the attractions of the Sicilian for so many and, as late as the 1950s, one saw strong masters play passively as White and get driven off the board without trace.
