Raymond passed away on the 11th November (85 years old).

My first team captain for a number of years, a very good player who gave me encouragement and advice but loathed sitting next to me at away games. (said what was going on on my board put him off).

Recall once winning a league game as Black before he had a chance to sit down.

O W Rigaud vs J Cooper, 1974 (kibitz #19)

Nov-22-18  Nosnibor: He found it hard going representing Scotland in the 1964 Olympiad scoring just 3.5/10. but played some good chess.R.I.P. Raymond Baxter.
