  Fusilli: <vonKrolock> <(Newspaper notice on his death)>

Ugh. Awful. I did a couple of internet searches and found that he was stabbed 14 times, that the autopsy showed he offered no resistance because he was under the effect of narcotics, and that the police had concluded three people were present when it happened--specifically, his girlfriend and another couple.

But my attempts to find info on arrests or a resolution of the case were futile.

Dec-11-12  vonKrolock: <Fusilli> Yes. Newspapers here referred to sic <"Supposed Eva Perón's Grandson"> . no mention of he's being a strong Chess player, and also nothing about a solution for the case.

Fusilli: <vonKrolock> His mother became famous by making an outlandish and never proven claim. Effort involved: you may guess.

He became a strong chess player, and earned the FM title. Effort involved: you know.

Granted, he was not among the Argentine chess-playing elite, but was at least respected. Yet, even after being killed, he didn't deserve any recognition for his own achievements, but was instead labeled as per his mother's made-up claim to fame.

If his mother had never made the claim, the newspaper headline, maybe, and only maybe, might have been "Chess master murdered in Caballito", but we'll never know.
