Mar-03-06  Timothy Glenn Forney: Glenn Umstead is the subject of a great book "The Chess Artist" by J.C. Hallman, I highly recommend this book.
Aug-29-06  Maatalkko: I second the recommendation. Too bad more of Glenn's games aren't here. They had some at the back of the book, maybe someone who owns a copy can upload them.
Sep-14-06  Timothy Glenn Forney: I uploaded them in pgn but CG won't put them in the database, maybe they can't do it for legal reasons.
May-23-07  Griffard: I also love the book "The Chess Artist" and i'm a fan of Glenn's style of playing all in all. You could find some more of his games at chesslive.de (chessbase)
May-24-07  Timothy Glenn Forney: Ok they put them in the database, great. Thanks for the link Griffard.
Feb-09-10  Marmot PFL: According to Hallman, his USCF rating was under 2200, yet on ICC he was over 2550.
