Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-06-24  Alan McGowan: It is worth noting he was the brother of Hans Herrmann

‘Dagegen gelangte L. Herrmann, der bruder H.
Herrmann.' (1934 Deutsche Schachzeitung, p290).

Aug-30-24  Alan McGowan: A contradiction of my earlier post is in the Deutsche Schachblaetter 1937, p93.

In a report on an event at Weidenau, which included both L. and H. Herrmann, there is the reference (übrigens keine Bruder!). Not brothers.

Oct-10-24  Chessist: Ludwig Herrmann was the brother of Josef Herrmann. Neither of them were related to Hans Herrmann.
