GrahamClayton: In regard to Geiger's date of death, he competed in the Mitropa Cup for Salzburg in 1953, so a death pre-1955 seems unlikely.
Oct-04-13  Karpova: In 1926, he lived in the Müllerstraße 24, in Innsbruck.

Dec-03-15  ljfyffe: In the IFSB Bundesmeisterschaft of 1932-33,
Geiget scored 5 out of a possible 12 points to finish in 8th place in the correspondence tourney.
Dec-03-15  paavoh: @Whiteshark: <Is this Hans Geiger, inventor of the <Geiger counter> ?> Nope. The real Geiger was born on 30 September 1882 and died in 1945.
