Oct-07-05  Granite: Micah is an extremely active member of the chess club and a strong advocate for chess in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is Canada's most active chess player having played more games then anyone else for some time now. He's currently rated 2023 by the Canadian Chess Federation and has a FIDE rating of 2093 according to the Chess Federation of Canada Website.

Very nice guy, I lost to him last night and in the post-mortem took the time to show me what I'd missed, answer my questions about ideas I had in various positions, and generally helped me understand what I could do to work on my game. All the while he was the tournement director and helping everyone out with club activities in general. A real gentleman and a great advocate for chess.
