Sep-06-04  Minor Piece Activity: Eatman, so this is you?
Oct-21-04  Minor Piece Activity: Hey Eatman, what's your favorite win? Is it in this db?
Oct-23-04  Eatman: Greetings and salutations. These are indeed my games. When I joined Chessgames, I am pretty sure there were no games of mine here. Seems Chessgames has added more games in the meantime. I am glad to have my own section now. :) I will have to figure out how to upload games, as I have more exciting losses of mine (and some wins too..) to add.
Oct-23-04  WMD: <Eatman> Are you a student of Latvian chess history? If so, do you know anything about the death of Fricis Apsenieks in 1941? Was it from natural causes or, perhaps, related to the Soviet occupation of Latvia?
Oct-24-04  Eatman: <WMD> I do not know details of what happened to Apsenieks, I will try to find out from some people who know more Latvian chess history than me. The year 1941 was a rough year in Latvian history. Could be Apsenieks met the same fate as Vladimir Petrov who did die in Siberia.

Nov-22-04  blakmetalik: valdis, this is leigh (i obviously went to great lengths to find out how to come in contact w/you, since i'm no chess player as you know!) anyway, if you feel like touching base with me, my e-mail is blakmetalik@gmail.com. i haven't forgotten my *cough* debt, so e-mail me!
Nov-26-06  Karpova: No Bio?
Do you try to become an IM? Your rating is pretty high. Did you play in any tournaments recently?
Jan-09-07  Silverstrike: Some nice games Eatman, you make alot of exchange sacrifices for pawn activity, maybe you're Topalovs alter ego or something! ;)

How would you describe yourself, as a strategist, a tactician, or both? You seem to demonstrate good play in both in many of your games.

Aug-09-08  zoren: hi, i see some games against cyrus, know anything about him? or what are your impressions of him
