louispaulsen88888888: I have found a list of books, all in Bulgarian. None available at this time however, unless I want to trust a shady looking website. Which I do not.

fredthebear: Likely a wise choice. (You weren't referring to CGs advertising, were you?) Is there a chance that Kantardzhiev's books are in Bulgarian PDF format, etc. and can be translated to English on-line?

louispaulsen88888888: No I did a Google search and found the shady website. But that did help me find the names of the books. That is a good idea. I shall investigate further.
Dec-13-22  stone free or die: <lp8*8> could you please post a link to the list you found?

I also found a list of three titles on worldcat:

http://worldcat.org/identities/lccn...

CPL (Cleveland Public Library - White Collection) has a copy of all three.

louispaulsen88888888: Well, according to Worldcat, they are at the Cleveland Public Library, but when I went to the Cleveland Public Library website and looked them up, I didn’t see them. I may give them a call.

louispaulsen88888888: Something about the way I’m supposed to pay them put me off. I might just be a little too cautious, but that’s me. I won’t buy from them. Just looks a bit odd. The misspelled words, the steps involved, etc. This is just my personal opinion. ( don’t want a libel suit here!)

  MissScarlett: You read Bulgarian?

louispaulsen88888888: I know the chess notation. That is all. I can play over games that might not be found elsewhere. I would not be able to read any annotations or anything but that is ok. This guy was quite strong but not well known. Except to the Bulgarians. I also have a neighbor who is Bulgarian so I can ask for some help there. He says the alphabet changed a little in 1945. I hope that does not create a problem for him. I do not know much about that.
