Jonathan Sarfati: These three games with Sarapu at his peak are not the total of Ron O'Callahan's chess. For decades, he was a leading player in the Lower Hutt and Wellington Chess Clubs. His favourite part of the game was the endgame, but some of his defeated opponents noted that he was skilled in combinative chess but underestimated himself in that area.
